Nigeria is one of the most populous nations in the world with over 130 million people. It is one of the world's largest oil producers. However, the
oil industry has only fueled violence and corruption. Few Nigerians have benefited from oil wealth and the country is one of the poorest on the
continent.

WHAT CAN BE DONE?
Evans Nwankwo asked himself that question for years. A native of Nigeria, Evans' family lost their secure life during a civil war. However,
the family never lost their faith. That faith and hard work brought Evans to college in the U.S. and guided his construction career. Nevertheless,
he always carried a dream in his heart to make Nigeria a better place.
Evans created NuWay Foundation based on the belief that anyone can make a difference, but together we can make a greater difference.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
In a partnership with Self-Sustaining Enterprises and Back-2-Back Ministries, NuWay Foundation will put proven sustainable development methods in
practice. Through education, community building and economic development, NuWay will transform the lives and economic conditions of the
less fortunate.
NuWay Site Facility
The first step is to create a base of operation in the village of Awa. From this base, a small staff will organize life-changing trips and
provide visitors with secure housing. The base will also provide employment, economic development and education opportunities for village
residents.
